Mark Ward
Biography: Mark Ward is the co-founder of CoachesAid.com and serves in many facets of the Coaches Aid business. He and cofounder Heath Ritchie started Coaches Aid in 1998 in their living rooms in Camargo Oklahoma. Mark's sports background is a big part of his life. He played baseball in college at Texas Tech and Oklahoma University. He served as an assistant baseball coach at OU in 1991. Mark graduated with a physical education degree from OU and his Master's degree from Southwestern. He coached at the high school level for eight years during which he won more than 80% of his games. A portion of the foundation for Coaches Aid came with the understanding that Mark obtained during his coaching career. He continued with Coaches Aid on the side and coaching duties in the summer when he joined J & L Oilfield services in 2006. He served in the public relations department. Mark asked co-worker and business specialist Jason Swanson to help with direction of Coaches Aid. A successful bond began to form.
In 2008 Jason and Mark helped form the Coaches Aid Corporation. The group's goal quickly became to make Coaches Aid the global leader in high school sports. Coaches Aid Oklahoma became the state wide leader in High School sports and joined Griffin Communications in 2010. Mark currently serves in multiple roles with Coaches Aid, where he is inspired to help Coaches and athletes create an environment that will prepare youth for life beyond sports. He is an active member, and serves in Harvest Fellowship church in Leedey, Oklahoma. Mark is married to Carrie and has 4 children, Preslee 18, Luke 12, Parker 8 and Grace 4. Also by Mark Ward
